«Hi friends, I'm sorry I've been so absent lately».

Valentina Barbieri, a comedian and impersonator who exploded on social media and was later hired by the Gialappa Show on TV8, announced on social media that she had been hospitalized.

"These have been months of intense stress, and obviously my body has taken its toll," writes Barbieri, now the alter ego of Chiara Ferragni, Giulia De Lellis, Michelle Hunziker, and Alessia Marcuzzi. "I've had a terrible week, but maybe things are getting better now. Between crying and worry, I didn't think it was right to show you my condition. I'm only just resurfacing now, after days spent here. I'm in the care of excellent doctors and nurses, and I'm lucky to have my fiancé and our families by my side. Nothing can be taken for granted. I don't know how many more days I'll be here, I just know that my body asked for a break, and now it's time to listen to it. I'll be back soon, I miss you. I love you."

A few updates then arrived from Thomas Basilico, her boyfriend and work partner: "Hi everyone, Valentina is still hospitalized in Pescara. But she's doing much better. Just a little more effort and she'll be back home. Thank you all for your support, we really appreciate it. I thought it was right to update you. See you soon, very soon."

Just two days ago she appeared in the latest episode of the Gialappa Show on Tv8, but the episode was recorded weeks ago.
