In reality, the season began on January 1st with the Puccini Gala, as recalled by the artistic director Alessandro Gazale. 2024 certainly confirms the happy intuitions of last year and offers from April to December a program of great quality aimed at innovating the language of the work with the contamination of painting and literature. Operations that have aroused interest and applause not only at a national level.

We start with the four symphony concerts at the Comunale di Sassari: on 24 April the famous violinist Uto Ughi will conduct the orchestra of the de Carolis institution in the program dedicated to Mozart and Viotti. The orchestra will be conducted by Massimo Quarta on May 4th, while on the 11th of the same month the baton will pass to Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli. Closing on October 19th with the young talents of the multinational Sic itur ad astra Foundation, with Daniele Agiman in the hole.

As for opera, on 28 and 30 June there will be the world premiere of "Falso betray", an opera written by Marco Tutino, directed by Hugo de Ana and orchestral conducted by Beatrice Venezi. Opera returns to the streets on 12 July with "Otello" by Verdi with Gazale as director and creator of the scenes.

The three autumn operas are Puccini's "Tosca" (1, 3 and 5 November), Massenete's "Werther" with the return of the tenor Francesco Demuro (29 November and 1 December) and Puccini's "la Bohème" (6.20pm and December 22).
