A scholarship of six thousand euros per year renewable for three years: Amazon decides to invest in the students of the University of Cagliari as part of the “Women in innovation” program, now in its fourth edition.

The Polytechnic of Milan, Turin and the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" are also involved in the initiative.

The funds are intended to "encourage and help deserving young women to undertake a course of study and to satisfy their ambition to work in the field of innovation and technology" and will be assigned on the basis of merit and income parameters.

The e-commerce giant will also provide a mentor, a manager who will help the beneficiary develop useful skills for future work.

Students in possession of the following requisites can apply for the scholarship: are enrolled for the first time in the academic year 2021/2022 in the degree course in Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering and have obtained at least 17 credits with a weighted average of the exams not less than 25/30.

Applications must be sent to the University of Cagliari by 11 March next.
