The exams and graduation sessions scheduled at the University of Cagliari for the months of January and February can also be held remotely.

This is foreseen by a decree signed by the Rector of the University, Francesco Mola, which specifies that "the face-to-face modality can be adopted if, in relation to the number of students enrolled in each exam, the number of undergraduates and the availability of adequate spaces, guaranteed the safety conditions envisaged by the protocols in force ".

Teachers who intend to take the exams in person must submit a request to the relevant Faculty which, in the light of the protocols mentioned above, will assess the existence of the feasibility conditions.

Female students, on the other hand, will be able to request to take a previously scheduled exam remotely in person if placed in compulsory or fiduciary quarantine, for serious personal health reasons, or if in possession of caregiver status. The University will evaluate further reasons for actual discomfort that may understandably derive, directly or indirectly, from the health emergency situation.

Nothing changes, however, for face-to-face lessons already scheduled for the month of January: the decree of the Rector Mola establishes the use of the classrooms according to the maximum capacity allowed by the anti Covid security measures reported in the protocols in force, and in any case with a number of people not exceeding the maximum capacity of 75%.

For the second semester, the collegial bodies of the University will evaluate the adoption of changes to what has been established in relation to the evolution of the epidemiological framework.

"The University bodies - comments the Rector - are carrying out constant monitoring to ensure the continuation of activities in safety, calibrating and adopting measures according to the evolution of the situation".
