Valtteri Bottas, in a Mercedes, won the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix, held on the Istanbul track.

The Finnish driver preceded the two Red Bulls of Dutch Max Verstappen and Mexican Sergio Perez, second and third respectively, at the finish line. In fourth place the Ferrari of Monegasque Charles Leclerc.

Max Verstappen's delay from the winner was extremely short: the Dutchman passed the checkered flag with a delay of only 0 "876.

Lewis Hamilton's comeback, who started from the rear, stopped behind Charles Leclerc, that is to say in fifth place and this placement forced the British world champion to give up his leadership in the F1 Drivers' World Championship, which is back in the hands of Verstappen.

Great performance by the other Ferrari driver, Carlos Sainz Junior, also like Hamilton, protagonist of a great comeback: the Spaniard finished in eighth place.
