Far from being a friendly tournament, the semifinal between Trento and Dinamo was a heated match, with the home team winning 74-70 and four players being sent off in the 34th minute: Thomas for the Sassari team and Mawugbe, Forray and Bayehe for Trento.

Banco di Sardegna will face Trapani tomorrow for the third-place match, while Trento and Udine will compete for the Brusinelli Memorial.

A tense game, Dinamo showed off their skills in the second quarter, rallying from a 9-point deficit to take a six-point lead: 29-35. A 9-0 run restored momentum to the home team. Sassari chased, repeatedly getting within one basket, but was unable to regain the lead, partly due to poor shooting performances by Buie and Johnson: 0-for-9 from three, two of them.
