In view of the strike on Monday 27 November, the deputy prime minister and transport minister Matteo Salvini has once again signed the letter of precept to reduce inconvenience to public transport: the 24 hours of stoppage will therefore be reduced to four, i.e. from 9am to 1pm .
"Not all the unions involved have proposed to fold their arms all day", underlines the ministry in a note, specifying that "the right to strike is sacrosanct", but that it is also necessary to "reduce the inconvenience for citizens as much as possible" , also in light of unrest that "has now become very frequent", especially on the last day before the weekend or at the beginning of the working week.
The reply from the national secretary of the CGIL Maurizio Landini was immediate, who will be in Cagliari on Monday 27th, together with the Uil leader Ronzoni .
«The government signed the injunction, an authoritarian and anti-democratic act that has never happened in history . It is not just an act against unions but against the freedom of individual citizens", said Landini. Adding: "We challenged that provision because it is wrong, we will not be intimidated and we will continue with our fight ."
