Governing the energy revolution of which Sardinia is the protagonist, as highlighted by the Minister of the Environment Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, and defending it from the feared speculative assault .

Now the Regional Council is called to set the limits against the wind invasion with a measure that goes well beyond the timid agenda approved recently.

" Local administrations and the Region must be decisive in choosing the location and type of plant that you want to build," explains Industry Councilor Anita Pili .

Mayors and committees are clamoring for a moratorium . From Thursday the joint commissions will be working on what is now among the priorities at the end of the legislature.

The basic text could be the bill presented by the Red-Green Alliance group, which provides for two things: a stop to all authorization procedures pending an energy plan for Sardinia; and the need for the opinions of local communities to be binding .

A transversal approval of the provision is hoped for also to shorten the timeframe.

«Through this law – explains the PD regional councilor Piero Comandini – we will create a moratorium and establish once and for all the areas in which these plants can be built and the areas in which they cannot be built, something that the Council should have done years".

Michele Ennas, leader of the League : «Local communities must be involved, we have been saying this for some time. We need a serious discussion without exploitation, also because some of the choices we are paying for today were made when the current opposition was against the national government."

Even for the M5s group leader Alessandro Solinas, a law that stops the wind attack must be "a priority at the end of the legislature, we cannot wait a minute longer". The measure, he warns, "must be shared as much as possible".
