Tourist and commercial traffic in the ports of Sardinia recovers after the collapse due to Covid and returns to the record levels of 2019.

After those of the Port System Authority , released in recent days, the data of the "South Report" elaborated by Sole 24 Ore arrives to certify the new "boom" for the sea ports of the Island.

As regards passenger traffic, the dossier notes, during 2022 a total of 5 million people passed through the eight main ports (Cagliari, Olbia, Porto Torres, Golfo Aranci and Arbatax) . Number which, as mentioned, brings the "movement" of travelers and tourists who passed from Sardinia to the level reached before the advent of the pandemic.

Then there is the goods sector , which - confirms the Il Sole report - closed 2022 with a total of 43,814,388 tonnes transited (of which around 31 million in the port of Cagliari alone), with, in this case, a minimal decrease compared to the previous year (just under 100 thousand tons of difference).
