The income deriving from the tourist tax to the Municipality of Cagliari amounted, with data updated to 30 September 2021, to almost 370 thousand euros.

In the period between July 1st and September 30th the total is precisely 369,691 euros, income which, according to the Municipality, comes from hotels, B & Bs, rents rooms, private accommodation and other structures spread throughout the area such as residences, domos, holiday homes and rentals short.

"The new revenue with the Tourist Tax, revenue that does not burden the citizens - underline the tax assessors Andrea Floris and Tourism Alessandro Sorgia - will allow us to partially cover those revenues from minor taxes that were lacking in the pandemic period and plan investments aimed at improving the image of tourist Cagliari, with the collaboration of trade associations ".
