For the second consecutive year, Italy celebrates its European primacy with 115.5 points, surpassing Greece (108.4 points) and Spain (102.8 points) in the general ranking of the European Tourism Reputation Index (ETR Index) of the Demoskopika Institute.

The Belpaese obtains the primacy in two indicators (search and popularity of the destination) out of 4 and silver in the evaluation of the tourist offer. The positioning on the social side is less significant.

Precisely in the “popularity” indicator, Sardinia shines, placing third among destinations, after Tuscany and Calabria, with a score above 100 points.

In the general ranking, Tuscany is still looking down on everyone, snatching first place from Trentino Alto Adige , earning the highest score for visibility and interest from regional institutional tourist portals and social appeal among stakeholders.
