According to forecasts, the tourism boom in Sardinia will continue until October, welcoming many foreigners, especially Swiss and Germans.

An increasingly long season that causes hotels to be almost sold out: those who have booked in advance, those who arrive under date, and the attendance is very high after two years of suffering.

"The numbers of arrivals in Sardinian ports and airports speak of a striking season and therefore this is also reflected in the accommodation facilities - says Sandro Salerno, president of Assoturismo Sardegna - Attention, however, because the general economic situation in any case also has consequences on the choices of tourists and this boom doesn't apply to everyone. I mean, those who arrive already spend a lot on transport, then obviously you pay for the accommodation and so there is no income for the extra accommodation activities that are struggling a bit ".

“Unbelievable how many requests are. I truly believe that Sardinia is this year, for many reasons, the most exotic destination in Europe ”, the comment of Carlo Amaduzzi, number one of Assohotel Sardegna.
