The fourth edition of the literary prize "Faraglioni d'Ogliastra" saw the winner of the historical chronicler of L'Unione Sarda, Nino Melis with his novel "Rosso".

The competition was promoted by the Ars Artium publishing house .

On Sunday the announcement of the winners in the evocative setting of the Baia di Cea Residence.

“I felt a great emotion , it was a really nice evening”, commented the journalist from Jerzu. New experience for Melis. “For the first time I tried my hand at writing a novel - said the reporter - it was an effort but also a great satisfaction , it was something I always wanted to do but I never had the time. For me it was an unprecedented writing, the characters claim their own life and autonomy ”.

The jury was made up of Piero Carta (president), Angela Nieddu, Maria Rosaria Verdicchio and Chiarina Mulas. The other winning works are, on the second step of the podium, "L'anello delle brose" by Mariano Caredda , and in third place, ex aequo, "When you decide to stay" by Daniela Pisu , and "Stories in history" by Palmiro Pilloni .
