A crucial victory away to Sambenedettese: the 2-1 win allows the team to catch up with the team from the Marche region and Torres comes closer to direct safety for the first time.
A lively first half. Torres was well-placed from the blocks: in the 4th minute, Sorrentino counterattacked on the left, taking the ball onto his right foot and looking for the far corner, but Orsini got there. In the 11th minute, Masala crossed from the right, and Sorrentino headed in the lead. Sambenedettese responded: after the 15-minute mark, Stoppa headed Zoboletti's shot over the top of the crossbar. Luciani missed a couple of chances (a close-range header over the keeper in the 24th minute). The match ended with chances from Di Stefano and Sorrentino (a back-heel volley), both of which were saved by the keeper.
In the second half, Sambenedettese showed renewed strength and pressed forward: Eusepi scored early, but was found offside. In the 57th minute, Masala's arm touched a low cross, and the referee awarded a penalty, which Eusepi converted to equalize.
Three substitutions were made, and Zanandrea, making his debut, headed in the lead in the 57th minute from a Liviero free kick. Torres defended, and the Marche team scored in the 96th minute through Parigini, but this time too, there was an offside warning, and the Fvs team paid the price for asking for a free kick.
