Greco leaves Sassari after a season and a half: in the last championship Torres finished second, lost the final of the Italian Cup and above all won the promotion playoffs, favoring the repechage in Serie C of the rossoblù club.

Not an easy decision for the owners (Insula Sport) and the management helmed by the president Stefano Udassi, but the lack of evolution of the team, now with only 3 points ahead of the playouts, has recommended a boost first of all on the bench.

The championship will resume on January 8 with the match on the San Donato Tavarnelle field. There is therefore a few days to choose the new coach who will then have to work with sporting director Colombino on the market to shore up the squad.
