The crisis is there. Milan confirms it by conquering the “Vanni Sanna” with a goal by Sia and eliminating Torres from the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia.

The rossoblù would have deserved the draw but it's a really negative period for the attack that hasn't scored in three games.

Immediately Nanni flicks the ball to Goglino who runs, but the goalkeeper is ahead of him. Great action by Milan in the 12th minute at speed, with Bartesaghi who from the left crosses for the onrushing Stalmach, but the header does not hit the target.

The Sassari team creates some chances, especially with Guiebre on the left who also shoots at 26' but the diagonal is slightly wide. The best chance is Zambataro on a counterattack, but the right winger concludes weakly once in the area. It ends with another diagonal from Guiebre that goes just wide.

In the second half Guiebre immediately shoots unexpectedly: Nava blocks. Milan counterattack but Coubis misses the cross. In the 54th minute Sia from the three-quarter line takes two steps towards the center and strikes Petriccione. Coach Greco brings on Diakite and Mastinu and shortly after Fischnaller due to an injury to Goglino's wrist.

In the 80th minute, Diakite was sent off on the assistant's signal for an attacking foul on Coubis. Two minutes later, the referee ignored a push in the area against the launched Fischnaller. Torres besieged the area, Guiebre tried but Nava blocked it.
