Born in 2002, but already with significant experience in Serie C with Triestina, Alessandria, and especially Juve Stabia, where he achieved promotion to Serie B and reached the second division in recent months. Matteo Baldi explains why he said yes to Torres' call: "Because I want to get back into the game and because this city lives for football and has finished third and second in the last two seasons."
A versatile defender ("I've played all five positions but I prefer the right-back"), Baldi is already ready for Sunday's trip to Ternana. "It's true that I haven't played much in Serie B, but I haven't missed a single training session."
Juve Stabia has so much faith in the player, who has signed a contract until 2028, that they loaned him to Torres, allowing him to play and gain experience. "Here I saw a great mix of young and experienced players. I was impressed, and it confirmed what Daniele Giorico had already anticipated."
