“Torres is forever”: in a book the 120 years of history of the Sassari team

The past full of history and anecdotes, the exciting present and a promising future. This evening in the brand new Rossoblù Hospitality the book "La Torres 2003/2023 is forever" written by Giovanni Tola was presented.
Doing the honors will be president Stefano Udassi, who also wrote several pages of rossoblù history as a footballer. «For me it is a pride to have been called by those guys who had the dream of buying Torres». Those guys are the managers of Abinsula, an internationally successful start-up, which three years ago made that dream come true: «In Europe we are the football team with the most engineers», joked owner Pierluigi Pinna.

The book published by Carlo Delfino delves into the first ten years of what was born as a Physical Education Society where various disciplines were practiced, from football to tennis, from gymnastics to boxing. Between anecdotes, souvenir photos and a few lines to illustrate all the championships, we retrace the history of a club that has turned 121 and is now preparing to try to realize another dream through the playoffs for promotion to Serie B.
