Torres gives everything, but fails to score. At the "Vanni Sanna" it ends 0-0 with Rimini. It serves to stay out of the playouts and to interrupt the series of three defeats, but the path to save themselves without a play-off remains uphill. However, the fans are applauding to see a team that has struggled throughout the two halves.

Torres without the injured Ferrante, Diakite and Heinz, doesn't even have Lisai, Campagna and Omoregbe affected in the lineup, even if present in the stadium in the stands.

Strong-willed in the first half hour from Sassari who builds some chances especially with Ruocco (the best in the 30th minute with a fireball cornered by the goalkeeper) and Saporiti who tries to cross first from the left and then from the right but widens his aim slightly.

Rimini dangerous in the last quarter of an hour: first Pietrangeli's header from a free-kick that passes close to the right post, then in the 43rd minute with Biondi stealing time from Fabriani but saving Garau who chooses the perfect time for the exit of foot.

At the opening of the second half Ruocco puts in the middle from the bottom left but none of his teammates intervenes. Shortly after Liviero's free-kick almost crosses the corner.

Sandri crosses well from the left in the 71st minute but the ball ends up on the opposite post. Torres ends up forward but without having the opportunity to unlock the match.
