The appeal hearing in the Cagliari civil court for Alessandra Todde's appeal against the first-instance court's ruling, which upheld the forfeiture injunction, is scheduled for November 7.

This was announced by the president of the Election Committee, Giuseppe Frau, at the end of a meeting of the body convened specifically to discuss the notification of the appeal . Frau reiterated that the Election Committee will await the final outcome of the appeal before making a decision.

For Piero Maieli, a member of the opposition Election Committee, "as far as I'm concerned, we shouldn't wait for the final judgment because, as the court has already established, the documents are concrete, so I have asked the Council to express its opinion immediately on the governor's dismissal ."
