For these reasons, life senator Elena Cattaneo received the 2023 Stintino Award for Scientific Dissemination yesterday, Saturday 22 July, at the MuT - Museo della Tonnara di Stintino. Elena Cattaneo is full professor of Pharmacology, co-founder and director of the "UniStem" stem cell research center of the University of Milan, director of the Laboratory of Stem Cell Biology and Pharmacology of Neurological Diseases degenerative, life senator and academic of the Lincei.

During her lectio magistralis, Professor Cattaneo emphasized the relevance of communication in the intertwining of the webs of our existence. After the introduction by Esmeralda Ughi, director of the MuT, who coordinated the works and institutional greetings brought by the honorable Michele Pais, president of the Regional Council of Sardinia, Rita Vallebella, mayor of Stintino, by Giovanni Sotgiu, president of the Connection Structure of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Sassari, by Giuseppe Cuccurese, director of the Banco di Sardegna, Micaela Morelli, full professor of Pharmacology at the University of Cagliari, outlined the scientific profile of Elena Cattaneo.
