Time reveals the “Person of the Year”: it's Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is Time's "Person of the Year 2023".

The American singer won the "mythical" cover of the American magazine "for having brought - it is explained - joy to a society that desperately needs it".

The superstar, born in 1989, is the first representative of the world of arts and entertainment to be chosen as "person of the year" by Time in almost a century and beat the "competition" of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping , both finalists.

“We chose joy, someone who in 2023 transcended boundaries and brought light to a world full of darkness,” said the magazine's editor, Sam Jacobs.
