Appointment with Shakespeare on the stage of the Cultural Center "A. Pazzola" of Sennori: Saturday 21 June, at 9 pm, the association "Il Lentischio", in collaboration with AnonimArtijana and with the patronage of the Municipality of Sennori, stages the brilliant performance "Questo Amleto non s'ha da fare".

The show, set up and directed by Maria Paola Cordella, will feature the actors Safaa Anebarou, Antonietta Brau, Maria Giovanna Delogu, Giovannina Fois, Antonella Leoni, Ersilia Manghina, Isabella Manunta, Giannina Nieddu, Angela Pazzola, Ersilia Pazzola, Gian Mario Pazzola, Maria Antonietta Pazzola, Antonio Piga, Maria Grazia Soliveras, Antonietta Tonzanu. With a clever play on roles, “Questo Amleto non s'ha da fare” tells the story of the adventures of an amateur theater company led by an ambitious but inexperienced director, who wants to stage Shakespeare's Hamlet in a small provincial town.

Each one has tried their hand at different characters to become familiar with Shakespearean writing and mechanisms: Cleopatra, Richard III, The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Merry Wives of Windsor. Fame, House of Capulet. So much work and so much time invested cannot be thrown to the wind. All the actors will give their best to demonstrate to the director that they are up to tackling Shakespeare.

In the past, this association has enriched our country with successful theatrical performances such as Sos Femminos and Lisistrata, which have been successful not only at our cultural center, but also in neighboring communities", comments the city councilor with responsibility for Culture, Elena Cornalis. "We believe it is essential to promote associationism and we are committed to ensuring that it represents a significant component of our local reality, in its various aspects and areas".
