Roma-Cagliari, Sunday 16 March, will start one hour later: at 4pm instead of 3pm. This is for reasons of public order, given the coincidence with the Capitoline Marathon which will take place on the same day and will pass through the area of the Foro Italico, where the Olympic Stadium is located.

The issue was raised last week, when – following the publication of the calendar with Serie A advances and postponements – the overlap between the two events emerged. Roma-Cagliari could not be brought forward to Saturday 15, because the Giallorossi will have the return leg of the Europa League round of 16 against Athletic Club on Thursday 13, nor postponed to Monday 17 because there is the break for the national teams. With the two “evening” slots already defined by Fiorentina-Juventus (6 pm) and Atalanta-Inter (8.45 pm). Hence the decision to postpone by one hour , which will allow all operations to be completed to guarantee safety in both events.

This is the updated calendar for the twenty-ninth day of Serie A:

Genoa-Lecce Friday 14 March at 20.45

Monza-Parma Saturday 15 March at 3pm

Udinese-Verona Saturday 15 March at 3pm
