In Carbonia , from February 4th to May 27th , the curtain of the Central Theater rises on “ Great prose, dance and music ”, the new program of the Cedac .

There are nine new titles on the calendar that offer the public reinterpretations of classics and texts by contemporary authors, choreographies and interweaving of words and notes. "It will be a great season to live together - highlighted the mayor of Carbonia Pietro Morittu - with citizens who will also be involved in a project to reconstruct the history of the ancient mining area".

«Among the names, Enzo Vetrano and Stefano Randisi , directors and performers, with Raffaella d'Avella and Giovanni Moschella , of “i Macbeth”, a rewriting of the Shakespearean drama signed by Francesco Niccolini », said Valeria Ciabattoni , artistic director of Cedac . Then the actor Stefano Masciarelli on stage with Fabrizio Coniglio with "Were we better off when we were worse?".

The dramaturgy and direction of “ Tell me about tomorrow ” with Vera Dalla Pasqua and Rossella Guidotti is by the Argentine director César Brie . On the other hand, “Rut” by Cristoph Nix , with Chiara Murru , directed by Nicola Bremer , is inspired by the biblical figure of the Moabite woman who emigrated to the land of Israel, ancestor of King David. Another rendezvous, this time with comedy , recounts the search for " The Ideal Man ", written by Toni Fornari , Andrea Maia and Vincenzo Sinopoli and interpreted by Simone Montedoro , Emanuela Fresi and Noemi Sferlazza , as well as Toni Fornari himself, who also signs the direction. In “ Men and Viruses / An uncomfortable balance ” – by and with the geologist Mario Tozzi and the jazz musician Enzo Favata – a look at the relationship between man and nature is given.

" Cartographies ", a project by Paola Di Mitri , also dwells on the changes in the landscape and on the short and long-term consequences of the anthropic presence. The dance has two appointments : " Astor / A century of Tango " by the Ballet of Rome , with music performed live by Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi, a tribute to Astor Piazzolla and " The Four Seasons " by Cob / Compagnia Opus Ballet on the notes of Antonio Vivaldi , with choreography by Aurelie Mounier .
