Perfugas, the center of Anglona, can once again embrace an important archaeological find : the zoomorphic nuragic statue. The discovery occurred in 2019 during the excavations that were carried out at the Predio Canopoli site. This news was the icing on the cake of the conference on the centenary of the discovery of the sacred well, organized by the Municipality of Perfugas administered by the mayor Giovanni Filiziu in collaboration with the Paleobotanical Archaeological Museum and the Superintendency of Sassari and Nuoro.

« For us - they say from the Sa Rundine cooperative that manages the site - it was a moment to confirm the relationship that binds us to the site of the well and to the MAP, and the commitment to make the story of a thousand-year-old story that has still to be offered to those who choose to discover, rediscover and get to know Perfugas."

This aspect linked to the importance of communicating cultural heritage has been highlighted several times by Prof. Piero Pruneti.

«We thank the moderators and all the speakers who made this conference possible and captured the attention of the public until late afternoon, the entities that contributed to its realization, the local associations that collaborated in the success of the day and the girls of Civil Service of the Avis Perfugas Civil Protection who took care of welcoming the participants - conclude the operators -. Our sacred well was at the center of a celebration participated and felt by a community that gathered around it to celebrate it after millennia and one hundred years after its discovery , and also saw the participation of the country's schools".
