Despite its young age (it started production only 15 years ago), Cantina Nuovi Poderi di Sisini is proving that it can make its voice heard in the most prestigious international competitions dedicated to winemaking excellence. The company from Trexenta, with vineyards and a cellar in the fields of Sisini - a small hamlet of Senorbì - has won three medals at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, thus placing first among the Sardinian wines awarded at the thirty-second edition of the competition held this year in Yinchuan, in the heart of the Ningxia wine region, in China. Two golds and one silver for the Trexenta wine.

Gold medals for the Nasco di Cagliari Doc “Taja 2023” and for the Vermentino di Sardegna Doc “Istrale Balck Label 2024”, silver medal for the Barbera sardo Archeo 2022 (Isola dei Nuraghi Igt). «These important awards represent an important stimulus for our young winery that bases its work on the search for quality, focusing on native vines and modern winemaking techniques», explains Marco Giuntelli, who runs the company together with his son Luigi, his wife Silvia and a group of trusted collaborators. The three medals at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles are added to the most recent awards, the gold medal won by Nuovi Poderi at the fourth National “Vermentino” Competition in Massa (the “Istrale 2024” Doc was awarded) and the two 5 StarWines awards obtained at Vinitaly, again for the Vermentino Doc “Istrale” and for the Nasco di Cagliari Doc “Taja 2023”.
