The Region is about to enter the third month of provisional exercise, however on the 25th the first maneuver of the legislature will not arrive on the benches of the Assembly, but rather a bill on health care which - due to the lack of financial coverage - has as its sole objective the administration of the ASL.

In the background of this traffic jam of measures there is the case of the dismissal of the President of the Region that risks causing the dissolution of the entire Regional Council and a return to the vote. The issue is very delicate. It is no coincidence that today in the Chamber there is scheduled to be a discussion of a motion of the majority that commits the Council to raise a conflict of attributions with the State on which the Constitutional Court is called to judge.

The underlying thesis is that the State – and therefore the Electoral College that issued the injunction order – is not competent to express an opinion on the forfeiture : its competence – argue the Campo Largo group leaders in the motion – is limited to the causes of forfeiture that affect elected councilors, while Alessandra Todde is by right.

For the majority, the case in question is that of "misuse of power", which according to constitutional jurisprudence can be challenged precisely in the context of the conflict of powers.
