The technical consultative table for the industrial hemp supply chain has been set up in Sardinia

With a decree signed by Gabriella Murgia, Councilor of Agriculture, the regional technical consultative table was established for the support and promotion of the cultivation and supply chain of cannabis sativa and industrial hemp.
"This new body - explains the representative of the Giunta Solinas - will contribute to putting order in a growing sector with great development potential that needed certain rules. The production of legal hemp in our territories, its transformation and its marketing within the wider agri-food and agro-industrial chain will also have beneficial effects for an action to combat hydrogeological instability and land reclamation, as well as thanks to its use in green building and bioenergy ".
The councilor himself or his delegate will preside over the table. It includes representatives of Laore, Agris, Sardegna Ricerche, University of Sassari, University of Cagliari, a representative of the MIPAAF national technical table and one of the NIPAAF - Nucleo Carabinieri Forestali Regione Sardegna, a representative of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Cagliari, one representative of the Regional Department of Environmental Defense and one of the Regional Department of Health, one representative for each professional organization of the category and one for the Association of the sector. Participation in the meetings of the Technical Advisory Board is free of charge.
