The Storie di un moment photography festival kicks off in Olbia

The 11th edition of the photography festival will be a great protagonist, until 2 December, in the historic center of Olbia with exhibitions, presentations, screenings and demonstrations through the meeting of well-known authors and photographers on the national and international scene and others less known. Without forgetting the calendar of side events and the opening on weekends of the Pop Up Camerà Café festival at the Politecnico Argonauti, designed to animate the festival and accessible from Friday evening to Sunday for the entire duration of the event.
However, as expected, sixteen exhibitions at the archaeological museum will be held, which can be visited until 2 December, and can be visited every day, except on Mondays, during the opening hours of the structure, and at the Società dello stucco in via Cavour. As many as 16, from “Pasolini 150”, shots on the set of the great Bolognese director, to “Gassman 100”, with particularly emblematic images of the career of the great actor, signed, both exhibitions, by various authors.
Passing through "Tramuda" by the Sardinian Union journalist Francesco Pintore, who immortalizes one of the most important moments of pastoralism, namely transhumance, and "Trasmudas" by Antonio Mannu, who photographs stories of Sardinian migration, "Cuba" by Alessandro Borrini, a classic reportage on Havana, its charm and contradictions, and “People” by the very Olbiesissimo Flavio Fara, an interesting journey around the world in search of faces and people.
And again "The return of Grace" by Giorgio Pomata, which tells the ceremony for the transfer of the body of the Nobel Prize-winning writer Grazia Deledda to Nuoro in 1959, and "The means of our life's journey", through which Ignazio Figus illustrates the demolition of the cars with shots of great visual impact. As for the other events, the screening of the cult movie “Blow up” by Michelangelo Antonioni, the meeting with the photojournalist Giovanni Mereghetti and the presentation of the volume “Periferie” by Giacomo Altamira stand out.
