The Sardinians elected to Parliament, unanimous chorus: "Insularity and anti-crisis measures are the priorities"

This is the unanimous commitment of the Sardinian parliamentarians who took office, after the vote of 25 September, in Parliament, to represent the island in the 19th legislature that has just begun .
The elected in Sardinia are seventeen in all, eleven in the Chamber and six in the Senate (where Ignazio La Russa was proclaimed president ), nine in the majority and eight in the opposition.
The patrol also includes a non-Sardinian senator, namely Marcello Pera , a candidate however from the Brothers of Italy on the island.
"It is a great emotion, but now it must be transformed into work and determination because the Sardinians and the Italians are waiting - says Dario Giagoni , new deputy and regional coordinator of the League - Faced with this crisis linked to the war, which has led to an increase in bills and economic difficulties, commitment, work and study are needed. With the other parliamentarians, majority and opposition, there will always be a common line, above all because we must monitor and give legs to the principle of insularity, which has now become constitutional ".
"The goal is that there is more Sardinia on the agenda of the new Parliament", says Ugo Cappellacci (Forza Italia). Adding: "Sardinians need equal opportunities, especially for work and businesses, respect to the other Regions ".
For Pietro Pittalis , another force leader, "particular attention must be paid to the infrastructural gap that has characterized Sardinia for decades".
"I trust - says from the Chamber Francesca Ghirra , elected with Verdi-Left - to be able to carry out shared policies also with other Sardinian colleagues. We must work to bridge the gap with the rest of Italy - explains Ghirra - in particular on public services, transport, ecological transition. Now we aim to establish our group even if we are 12 and we do not reach the minimum of 20, we will ask for an exception ".
Emiliano Fenu (M5S) wishes all parliamentary colleagues "not to lose the perception of the reality we live in, of the difficulties of families and businesses, we will carry out a correct opposition but without discounts", while Marco Meloni (Pd) also does he is committed to "the principle of insularity becoming the new way for the development of Sardinia".
