The enchantment and magic of animated cinema returns to Sassari thanks to the Sardinia Film Festival which   blows out twenty candles. From December 3rd to 6th, the event Organized by the Cineclub Sassari, it will transform the halls of the Cityplex Moderno in Sassari into an international hub for enthusiasts and professionals.

Under the artistic direction of Carlo Dessi , supported by Apocaloso , short and feature-length films from around the world will be presented, spanning diverse styles and origins, offering a broad overview of contemporary animated cinema and beyond. Admission is free for adults and children alike.

Among the pillars of the twentieth edition of the Festival will be a major “ Homage to Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli,” curated by Raffaelli, who will take the audience on a journey through the masterpieces that have redefined global animated cinema.

The Festival represents a crucial showcase for the new generation of talent and creative minds. The evenings will be dedicated to the official short film competition , divided into two main categories: works created by Animation Film Schools and those created by independent professionals .
