A prodigious recovery after the disastrous 2020 with many canceled shows. From October to December 2021, that is to say since the government reopened to 100% of the capacity, the Verdi Theater in Sassari recorded 93 curtain rises. Specifically, 68 shows were new productions, while 25 concerned artistic projects organized by other associations and companies in the area.

Stefano Mancini, artistic director of Theater and / or Music, the cooperative that has been managing the Sassari theater for 6 years, comments: "The review dedicated to Beethoven hosted in the concert hall, where the public found themselves in an intimate context, had a great success , almost a nineteenth-century living room atmosphere. The success was immediate we immediately sold out. Strengthened by this result we have decided to replicate every single concert of this mini concert season ".

Important numbers also for the "Voci di donna" review and for the grand finale of the season that presented on stage a double tribute to two historical bands: the Beatles and Genesis, for a year-end that led spectators from beat to rock to progressive.

Mancini also makes some previews for the year that has just begun. “The season dedicated to classical music will return with the great interpreters of music and we will open the rediscovered space of the concert hall to new events with a bill that we are outlining in these days. The successful collaboration that began in 2021 with the Blue Note Orchestra-Jazz Orchestra of Sardinia, which brought jazz back to the Verdi theater, is also confirmed ”.
