It's the longest-running Sardinian event dedicated to choral singing. From September 4th to 12th, Northern Sardinia will host the 42nd International Polyphonic Music Festival "Voci d'Europa." The event, organized by the Coro Polifonico Turritano, was presented this morning at the Sassari Chamber of Commerce, as part of the Salude & Trigu program.

Among the international guests of this edition will be the Tölzer Knabenchor Men's Choir from Germany, the ZwoZwoEins conducted by Marco Barbon and the Symphony Orchestra of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt conducted by Uwe Sochaczewsky.

The cultural and landscape setting for the choral melodies will be, from time to time, the historical and naturalistic context of Monteleone (4th September), the basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres (5th, 8th and 12th September), the abbey of San Pietro di Sorres in Borutta (6th), the Littu municipal natural park in Santa Maria
