A series of initiatives and events in the month of March to enhance the Sardinian gastronomic tradition. The project launched by Confcommercio Nord Sardegna is called "Sa mesa nostra".

The project debuted at the Hospitando Sardegna fair in Cagliari, which runs until March 11. From March 14 to 16, restaurants in Northern Sardinia invite everyone to a journey into the authentic flavors of tradition in the “Il galateo dei formaggi” event. A special opportunity to taste DOP pecorino cheeses for free, an expression of an ancient history and a process handed down over time.

Specifically, with the support of the Sardinia Region, the Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce celebrates DOP pecorino cheeses, such as Pecorino Romano DOP, Pecorino Sardo DOP and Pecorino Fiore DOP.

Through this initiative, Confcommercio not only promotes dairy excellence, but also encourages quality food and wine tourism , supports local businesses and tells the value and uniqueness of the cultural heritage linked to local traditions.
