The price of petrol continues to rise in Italy. The greatest increases concern fuel sold on motorways and suburban roads, in particular that dispensed in self-service mode.

And, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Transport , the island is among the regions where the most money is spent on filling up the car.

There are many distributors nationwide where the quota has exceeded 2 euros per litre, while as regards the average price , the highest amount is recorded in Puglia, where an average of 1.969 euros per liter is spent on self-refuelling.

Followed by Calabria (1.967 euros per litre), Basilicata (1.966), Liguria (1.965) and, as mentioned, Sardinia, where the average price is 1.962 euros for each liter of petrol placed in the tank.

Conversely, the lowest average prices of self are recorded in Umbria (1.936 euro/litre), in Veneto (1.925) and in the Marche (1.924).
