It is the day of the triumphal return of the Martyrs Turritani to the basilica of San Gavino. On the day of Pentecost the simulacra leave the small church of Balai Vicino to return in procession to the Romanesque church. On the occasion of the popular festival most felt by the Turritan community, a crowd of faithful follows the long path of peace with devotion, a path that crosses the seafront and the center of Porto Torres, to accompany the wooden statues in the presence of the civil, military, religious and population.

After the reading from the Condaghe of San Gavino, the Giudicato di Torres association recalled Comita's dream, and on the plain of Balai the mass officiated by the parish priest Don Michele Murgia, together with the priests of the diocese.

"Knock and it will be opened for you", said the parish priest don Murgia during the homily, emphasizing the presence of a light and of salvation as possible gifts. The same spirit that animated the three martyr saints throughout their lives.
