Silvio Baldini has called up 24 players for the national team's final two matches of the season, facing Luxembourg on Wednesday 3 June at the Stade de Luxembourg and playing another friendly against Greece on Sunday 7 June at the Pankritio Stadium in Heraklion, on the island of Crete.
Baldini confirms his decision to focus on many promising young players: the group includes four players born in 2008, three born in 2006, seven born in 2005, and nine born in 2004, for an average age of 20 years and 6 months.
In addition to Gianluigi Donnarumma - the leader of this international window - Pietro Comuzzo, Marco Palestra, Niccolò Pisilli and Francesco Pio Esposito are already part of the senior national team.
The Azzurri - including three Borussia Dortmund players - will gather at Coverciano on Thursday, May 28.

Goalkeepers: Giovanni Daffara (Avellino), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Manchester City), Lorenzo Palmisani (Frosinone).
Defenders: Honest Ahanor (Atalanta), Davide Bartesaghi (Milan), Fabio Chiarodia (Borussia Monchengladbach), Pietro Comuzzo (Fiorentina), Costantino Favasuli (Catanzaro), Filippo Mane (Borussia Dortmund), Marco Palestra (Cagliari), Luca Reggiani (Borussia Dortmund).
Midfielders: Matteo Dagasso (Venice), Giacomo Faticanti (Juventus), Luca Lipani (Sassuolo), Cher Ndour (Fiorentina), Niccolò Pisilli (Roma), Lorenzo Venturino (Roma).
Forwards : Francesco Camarda (Lecce), Luigi Cherubini (Sampdoria), Jeff Ekhator (Genoa), Francesco Pio Esposito (Inter), Seydou Fini (Frosinone), Samuele Inacio (Borussia Dortmund), Luca Koleosho (Paris FC).
Tommaso Berti (Cesena), Niccolò Fortini (Fiorentina), Gabriele Guarino (Empoli) and Dominic Vavassori (Atalanta) have been added to the squad, and will participate in the preparation phase of the friendlies from Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st May.
