On the organ, in instrumental duo and with voice and piano. Different ways to remember the figure of Max Reger, late-romantic German composer and organist. The appointment is for tomorrow at 20.30 in the basilica of the Sacred Heart in Sassari, with free admission. This is proposed by the Mediterranean Festival, the event organized by the Arte in musica cultural association.

The evening will be opened by Ugo Spanu, organist and teacher at the "Luigi Canepa" Conservatory of Sassari, as well as artistic director of the Arte in musica association, who will perform "Fantasia e fuga su BACH" Op. 46, written by Reger in 1900.

Following the duo composed by Angelo Vargiu (clarinet) and Andrea Ivaldi (piano) will present the Sonata in E flat major op. 49 n°1, composed in 1901 by Reger himself.

The Lolek vocal Ensemble youth choir will intervene in the evening, the first of its kind in Sassari, born in 2011 and directed since its foundation by Barbara Agnello.

The concert will close again under the sign of Max Reger with the performance of some pieces for voice and piano by the young duo composed of soprano Claudia Spiga and pianist Caterina Careddu.
