Fifteen itineraries, through 60 villages and communities, for a total of over 1,200 kilometres.

This is Sardinia's "slow" and sustainable tourism offer, included in the "We walk in Sardinia" project presented these days in Milan, as part of the "Do the right thing!" dedicated to alternative and sustainable holidays.

A first promotional event which will be followed by the second edition of the event entitled "We walk in Sardinia" which will take place on the island from 3 to 7 October 2023.

Miriam Giovenzana , director of "Terre di mezzo", and the photographer Riccardo Carnovalini , one of the greatest Italian "walkers", took part in the presentation of the "Sardinian paths" at the stand of the Sardinia Region set up in the exhibition spaces of the Milanese capital.

«Sardinia is a fantastic land to be walked on, a land where you never get bored, where there is a surprise at every turn», said Carnovalini, embracing the project.

«Identity and traditions, hospitality and sense of community - explains the regional councilor for Tourism Gianni Chessa - are values that we intend to promote on the national and international markets. The model of experiential tourism, which includes paths, villages and hospitality, is based on a unitary tourist proposal, divided into Paths of Sardinia, Pilgrimage destinations, Franciscan places and Villages of Sardinia».
