Love & Psyche is the theme of the XVII edition of October in Poetry, the international poetic festival of Sardinia born in Sassari in 2007 thanks to an intuition of the artistic director Leonardo Onida. The event will take place from 18 to 22 October between Sestu, Tissi, Alghero and of course Sassari and will be dedicated to the actor Carlo Valle, who suddenly passed away a month ago.

“For 17 years Carlo was one of the most precious souls of the festival and among the main animators of the Poetic Workshop – recalls Leonardo Onida – we chose to dedicate the entire festival to him and in particular the last day of the event. This year there will be a different light, for the first time after 17 years we will have to get used to the dim light, but with him always by our side".

Special guests of this edition will be the Colombian poet Angye Gaona, committed to defending the freedom of her country's political prisoners, and the worker poet Ferruccio Brugnaro. The Venetian poet, considered among the writers who were the first to "mimeograph" poetry, repeating aloud his works of social poetry in universities and campuses in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
