PLICS, the international literary prize “Città di Sassari” conceived by Leonardo Onida, comes of age: the 2025 edition is in fact the 18th. The new call for applications to participate in the prize is online.

The new addition is the section “T&P, Talent and Passion”, created to reward those who have distinguished themselves in particular activities carried out in the cultural, journalistic, social and human rights fields . Names and curricula will be selected, proposed and then discussed by a scientific committee composed of personalities from politics, culture and business.

There is time until May 31st to participate in one of the five sections: Published Poetry, a prize dedicated to Angelo Mundula; Unpublished Poetry, a prize dedicated to Maria Carta; Short Fiction/Story dedicated to Salvatore Mannuzzu; Novel, a prize dedicated to Sergio Atzeni; Songwriting and Lyrics for Music, a prize dedicated to Marisa Sannia.

There are two juries: a technical one and a school juries involving over 4 thousand students .
