After the success of the volumes dedicated to the flamingo, the Giara horse and the barn owl, a new protagonist of the fascinating series by Ilisso Edizioni is coming to newsstands with L'Unione Sarda: the Griffin. The fourth volume of "The protagonists of nature", available from Saturday 3 May, tells the story, ecology and symbolism of one of the most majestic birds of prey of the Sardinian fauna.

The Sardinian Griffon Vulture is a large vulture, today a symbol of environmental resilience. For years it risked extinction, but thanks to important conservation projects and the support of the scientific community, it has returned to fly in the skies of Sardinia, particularly in the Montiferru area and along the north-western coast.

The volume is enriched with evocative illustrations and texts designed to involve readers of all ages, with insights into the biology of the bird of prey, curiosities and much more.

With this new release, the series "The protagonists of nature" continues to tell the story of the island's wildlife heritage in an accessible, educational and visually engaging way. After the Griffin, the next releases will be dedicated to the mouflon (May 10), the eagle (May 17) and the Sardinian deer (May 24).

Don't miss the volume dedicated to the Griffin, on newsstands with L'Unione Sarda from Saturday 3 May. An opportunity to learn about and appreciate the true protagonists of our nature.
