The Green Train in Sardinia begins to travel again and like every spring the new season kicks off. On Sunday 6 March, Arst who manages the service confirmed the departure from Mandas at 8.50am. A stop will be made in Isili to allow the visit of the Nuraghe Is Paras, then the spectacular passage over the Lake of Is Barroccus, in front of the Sarcidano station, where there was the Complementary line for San Gavino, now dismantled and recoverable as a cycle path . Another short refreshment stop at Nurallao station and then the arrival in Laconi, the end of the journey.

At 4 pm the Green Train leaves for Mandas. The following Sunday, the route along the narrow-gauge railway that from Sarcidano unravels in the Barbagia di Seulo, up to Seui. In this season, on this much longer route, the departure will always be anticipated at 8.30. Confirm two stops: in the Palarana toll booth, nestled between two tunnels overlooking the Medio Flumendosa lake, and on the way back through the woods of the Betilli station.

These two trips will be repeated on all subsequent Sundays (except for Easter which is replaced by Easter Monday) in March and April, always departing from Mandas, but alternatively on the section that leads to Laconi with the one that leads to Seui.
