From Alghero, Sardinia and Italy, with commitment and intellectual honesty, I will be called to participate in an important passage for our nation ".

Again, writes Pais, "every choice and decision of mine will be considered and always inspired by the values of democracy, with respect for those who fought to defend it and for those who today are concretely committed to guaranteeing it a future".

The leader of the Democratic Party Gianfranco Ganau summarizes his thoughts and impressions from Rome on his Facebook profile as follows: “The first thing I notice is the great cold present in all the offices. The Sardinian deputy of the Democratic Party Romina Mura also entrusted her words to Facebook: "We really need to choose a patriot like Sergio Mattarella, who has guaranteed the unity of the country at all times, who has never been afraid to take the right side and always fielding not only his rationality, his authority, his solidity, but also his great humanity ".

"I am also very excited - said the parliamentarian - I feel this important appointment that looks to the future with respect to which we must do our best".
