The grand finale of the concert season "I Grandi Interpreti della Musica" brings two exceptional soloists to the stage of the Teatro Verdi: the German violist Danusha Waskiewicz and the pianist from Pesaro Andrea Rebadeungo.
The duo will propose a varied program from classical to contemporary which includes: Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Manuel De Falla and transcriptions of Balkan and Spanish music.
Danusha Waskiewicz, chosen by Claudio Abbado, has been a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, since 2004 she has assumed the role of first viola of the Mozart Orchestra and since 2010 she has been a member of the Lucerne Festival Orchestra. With the direction of Abbado and the Mozart Orchestra he recorded, together with Giuliano Carmignola, Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Deutsche Grammophon.
Andrea Rebaudengo plays internationally as a soloist with numerous important orchestras and ensembles including the Rai National Symphony Orchestra, the Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra of Milan, the Zwickau Symphony Orchestra, the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Brass of the Stairs.
