The comedy, the spectacle and the extraordinary nature of the Teatro Circo Maccus company directed by Virginia Viviano are back on stage.

The third edition of the "Le Domeniche Volanti" event starts tomorrow in Quartucciu, with eight days and seven companies from all over Sardinia at the Spazio Maccus in via dei Gerani in Sant'Isidoro.

until the month of October, for 2 Sundays a month and with the exception of July and August, an appointment with a show at 12. To precede it at 10.30, juggling and aerial acrobatics workshops on trapeze and fabrics for families.

The debut is on Sunday 12 May , when Spazio Maccus will propose the Circus Theater workshop for families, while at 12, the Bocheteatro company will stage the show "Sorichitta", written by Monica Corimbi. On May 26th there will be space for the Teatro company “La Maschera, per Diavoli e Pentole” by and with Daniele Pettinau. Made with the art of puppetry, in a hilarious Sardinian-Japanese lexical game, the show tells the story of Tanaki Ndisciu, a demon of Japanese popular tradition.

The June events begin on Sunday 9th with the homage to the most representative mask of Italian commedia dell'arte: "Arlecchino and the theft of love" by Baracco Teatro dei Burattini and Teatro del Segno. By and with Paolo Cattaneo, the show blends the most classic traditions of Italian puppetry with the Argentine tradition. On June 16th the homage is aimed at the Cagliari carnival and its history with “W Re Canciofali”, written and directed by Rita Atzeri, with Laura Fortuna and Marta Gessa. In the new production of Il crogiuolo, Re Canciofali has gone to his head.

On 8 September, after the summer break, we resume with the host company : The Circo Maccus theater offers "... in viaggio", a show by and with Virginia Viviano for the little ones which tells the journey of life, to sound of music, acrobatics and juggling. On September 22nd we move from the dark and somewhat horror fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm to Hansel and Gretel of the Wonderful Ephemeral, revisited with the irony of a grotesque and funny witch, who teaches us to face difficulties and fears by remaining united and believing in themselves and their hidden resources. On the first Sunday of October, directed by Giovanni Carroni, arrives “Il Pianeta DIY” by the Bocheteatro company of Nuoro, by Monica Corimbi and Giovanni Carroni.

Finally, on October 20th, the Teatro del Segno returns with “Rodari... per l'estate” , by and with Alessandra Leo and Stefano Ledda and with Tancredi Ermanno Emmi on double bass. Drawing inspiration from the vast literary production of Gianni Rodari, two actors bring to the stage the eternal game of the wise and the foolish, the incompetent and the absent-minded, involving the audience in an alternation of jokes, dramatized readings, stumbling, singing and miming in a fun and entertaining game journey through stories, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, mime and clowning.
