In the night between 17 and 18 January, the Moon will be at a distance of about 400,000 km from the Earth and will reach the "full moon" phase. In particular, at 00:58 in the morning, the side that our natural satellite shows us will be completely illuminated by the Sun and the Moon will be observable throughout the night.

On the occasion of the first full moon of 2022, the Planetarium of the Unione Sarda offers a telescope view in direct facebook, to show it to all fans.

Thanks to a powerful telescope and accompanied by the narration of the astrophysicist Manuel Floris, it will be possible to admire the famous lunar seas, some of the most striking craters and identify the area where the first men who landed on the Moon landed.

The appointment is for 9 pm live on facebook on the page of the Planetarium of the Unione Sarda.
