“Unfortunately, for some months now I have been fighting a serious disease that has hit me aggressively. It is a constant pain, it does not give me peace ”.

Gigi D'Agostino, the famous producer and DJ, wrote it on Instagram, author of songs that became very popular in the 1990s and 2000s, such as “L'amour toujours” and “In my mind”.

A message that in a few minutes went around the web, thousands of responses from fans, colleagues and well-known personalities.

"Suffering consumes me - wrote D'Agostino again -, it made me weak but I continue to fight. I hope to find some relief".

Then a thank you to the fans: “Thank you for all the good wishes you are sending me today, they give me strength and warm my heart. Much love".

The Turin dj had been isolated for some time, which is why explained in a few lines on Instagram.

"Come on Gigi, a big hug", is the message sent by the former mayor of Turin Chiara Appendino.

Born in 1957, Luigino Celestino D'Agostino turned 54 just yesterday, December 17th. He is considered one of the masters of dance in Italy.
