The Departments of Engineering and Innovation enrich the offer of the University of Sassari
Innovazione will have its headquarters in Olbia
Two new Departments for the University of Sassari are on the launch pad, in addition to the current 10. Engineering and Innovation will be activated within the next academic year.
The rector Gavino Mariotti presented the novelty in the Aula Magna.
The Engineering Department has Professor Enrico Grosso as its contact. It will train students and future professionals in engineering disciplines, essential figures for technological innovation and support for the development of companies operating in the area and beyond. It is the natural development of the Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering courses already activated in the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
The Department of Innovation has Professor Francesco Morandi as its contact. It will be based in a very modern structure made available by Cipnes and which is part of a broader development plan of the UniOlbia consortium. Innovation will be "transversal" with respect to the other Departments and will have a close collaborative relationship.
